WHAT IMPRESSES ME OR WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO ME?

All my life I have always focused on things that would last not just for this lifetime but for the life that is ahead of us . I know that to truly find one's true joy they need to know their purpose. Seeking and not finding is truly a disaster. All people are looking for things that would give them happiness, that would give them a feeling of certain high but as they waste away their time searching everywhere they tend to miss the mark and forget to look around them. It's the people beside you, it's the people around you where you can find your joy, your happiness, your wealth, your treasures. You need not look too far.... Enriching, nourishing and empowering the very people within your reach and making a difference in their lives is where we will find lasting happiness, the kind that not even any amount of money can buy. Joining the community expanded my views in a lot of things that was never been important in my mind before. For me relationships are very important and when I saw the community and their purpose in creating abundant lives for people, I was impressed. I instantly felt one with the community. As Mother Theresa said, " We can never do great things, only small things with great love"

My Journey into Create Abundance Business Community (Family)

After having read Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki and Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and several other books, I realized that I too can be really wealthy should I choose to and work at it, starting with my thoughts. That was about three years ago. That’s why I started putting up my own basketball clinics.

As much as I started progressing economically after having read those books, and for having my mind opened to the possibilities, I still struggled simply because of lack of knowledge on financial matters. No matter how much I made, I always lost it all, and lost it all very quick. I have no vices, except eating. And most of my food comes free. I very rarely buy clothes, because I get it free. We are not a materialistic family. We don’t have any jewelry. So poor money management habits is the main reason why trying to hold on to money was like trying to hold on to water with my bare hands (with fingers far apart)

One day,an old friend from another business made an appointment and introduced me to the creator of create abundance business community. He introduced himself as a “Financial Coach” and they immediately gave me a seminar which taught me about simple money management! It was amazing and inspiring. It reminded me of the feelings I felt when reading the books about wealth!!! I enjoyed it so much, I decided to accept their invitation to visit their community. But not until about a month later, because of hectic schedule.

Anyway, after my first visit to CREATE ABUNDANCE BUSINESS COMMUNITY, I felt like I found the missing piece in my quest for wealth. I found a community which was composed of different people, from different backgrounds, with different professions, but with ONE purpose…to become Financially Educated to become Financially Free!!!

Since then I have been active and have been taking advantage of the Life Entrepreneurship Program, which is basically lifetime learning. I later learned that the Life Entrepreneurship Program itself actually costs around P500,000.00++. Not only that, but I also found out that my wife was also enrolled, when I paid my Education Fee. So it was like a buy 1 take 1deal. I’ve heard that with commodities and stuff, but with EDUCATION? It was a great surprise.

Its going on 4 months since I my first contact with the Community and after many lessons learned and unlearned, hours and hours of laughter, many opportunities to have served and been served, and after having resigned from my main employment of 6 years (Purefoods TJ Giants - Professional Basketball Team in the PBA) all I can say is...

Being part of the Create Abundance Business Community (Family) is one of the greatest blessings I have received and am truly thankful for it and for all the people in it. I cant name you all one by one because we have grown exponentially and I don't want to leave anyone out. But to Master Rovel and Boss Marsel...my deepest expression of gratitude to you, your dreams, your courage to follow your dreams and giving us the opportunity to be part of this POWERFUL THING called CREATE ABUNDANCE BUSINESS COMMUNITY!!!

Secured with a regular job, I was a typical guy who just wanted to work and retire when I can no longer perform efficiently. Believing that life goes that way, and I can do nothing about it. Then all of a sudden, a friend of mine invited me to attend cashflow. Never did I expect that a new chapter of my life was about to begin.

I really consider it a privilige to be a member of the Create Abundance Business Community. At first, I thought they were absurd by having their vision and mission as they declare it. But then I realized that these guys are for real, to help the Filipino nation in a voluntary, visionary and abundant way.

As I stayed, that mission sinked-in into me little by little. And all the questions I have in mind were eventually answered. Its more than I could ask for, to have people around you always pushing you to reach for your dreams is really amazing. Well, you know I have my fair share of dream stealers. From my family, relatives and friends. But the good news is, my dreams are still here with me.

With this community, I rediscovered those dreams, and I found out that I can reach them faster than I could ever imagined.

1. Who am I?

Who am I? Yes, I am asking myself who really am I. Actually, this question will never took place if it’s not because of CA2020 community where I am involved in. Seriously speaking, I really don’t have a heart in writing but since this is all about what you learned and experienced in real life, well, I can say why not try it.

For 32 years of my existence in this world, I can say that I still have a lot of things to learn and I am on the process of asking myself what’s really my life purpose. 15 years of traditional schooling, 10 years of in and out of work and still searching of where I should be. I keep on asking myself the why’s, what’s, who’s, when’s and how’s of life?

2. What on Earth am I here for?

When I choose Life Purpose from 20 blog topics and I have to create 10 sub topics, I remember Rick Warren’s best selling book Purpose Driven Life that has a sub title What on Earth am I here for?

In his introduction, it says A Journey with a Purpose. In my journey of life, I never realized to count my staying years on Earth and have not given everything yet. Imagine I have already consumed almost half of the average life span and still don’t know where I am heading for.

So what’s my life’s purpose on Earth? As I try to understand the big picture-on how all the pieces of my life would fit together, I need to have my own perspective in life that would reduce stress, simplify my own decisions, increase satisfaction and of course preparing to meet God in His own perfect time.

3. Becoming a worthy person

Becoming a worthy person can be established in every tasked we are facing. May it be in our work place, outside our house, neighborhood, everywhere. So how can I can a deserving person?

Well, for me I believe my life purpose as a worthy person is to give back what God has given me. I know I still have talents to be discovered and for the meantime it's my turn to share what I have learned and spread how God has been very good in my life despite of so many hardships coming in.

4. Conquering Life's difficulties

In my more than 30 years of existence in this universe, it's really hard to conquer the everyday difficulties especially when you are interacting with people. I thought so it is but it's not actually. It's just a matter of understanding one's points of view because each of us are unique even twins.

But there are things that cannot be avoided especially when I am faced with family matters. It's really hard to face them but I am here for a reason and that is to face the battle of my own thoughts, actions and decisions against all odds.

5. Making a difference

Making a difference sometimes will earn you critics from the people around you. Well, that really happens especially coming from your loved ones. Because whenever I would tell them how big my dreams are they would look at me as if I have committed a crime.

I have been experiencing so many difficulties in trying to build my own life – a life that soon I would become financially free and live a life that I know God would be very grateful with me once we meet in heaven. Do whatever you wanted to do as long as you believe that you are in the right track.


6. Be focused and attentive

Before I don’t know where I’m heading to and how should I lead my life. I just go with what’s in and then I would realize another day has been wasted. But I know and I believe God has a reason why it is happening, He wants me know that I need to focus on the things that would make me a better person and be attentive to what’s going on around me in order for me to weigh things.

Controlled focus is like a laser beam that we can use to break through anything that seems to be stopping us. Yes, its true and if all of us will have this attitude, we will all succeed in every aspects of life.


7. Sharing

Sharing what I have to other people is a fulfillment. Each of us knows the things that we wanted to share like our talents of giving, teaching and the art of shaping other peoples lives.

I believe God has been shaping me become a person of strong foundation in building good relationship towards mankind. I love sharing what’s in my mind, what I learned from my mentors or acquaintances, friends and loved ones. That is life never keep what you know and what you have, you don’t know all along someone has been blessed by what you just said.

8. Love and be loved

God said love your enemies. Isn’t it too hard to follow God’s commandments? It is indeed. Easy to say and share but hard to put it in action. But then, isn’t it God had sacrifice for us all because of His great love for us?

So why not give love to mankind without asking something in return so that as time comes and we’ll be meeting God, He’ll say, well done my child.

9. My deepest why

This is a very critical matter. You need to have a strong, written “WHY” to stick around long enough to be successful in every endeavors and decisions you are doing and Your “WHY” will keep you going through rain, floods, no-shows or the ridicule of friends and loved ones.

For me, to inform people how wonderful God is and be a wealthy person for me to be able to give more.


10. Power within

God has given us the power within ourselves. There is an unlimited power within us all that needs to be awaken and use in order for us to fulfill our destiny. Learning to destroy the blocks and breakdown the walls that have been holding us back and Learn the incredible power of decision, belief system and begin how to use it.

That power within us that will lead us to know who we are, what we want and how to get it.

September 29, the day I became the official member of Create Abundance Community, because I passed the famous "Frienship Test". The night before that day, 2 personalities are talking to each other, its like, "Deal or no Deal". My "Play-safe" side is saying, "you have a high-paying job right now and a lot of job opportunities are waiting for outside the country, why join the group? It's too risky! You don't know them!" Then my growing "Risk-Taker" side is saying, "If you don't do this now, your dream of being Financially free will be forever in your dreams. Remember, you want time freedom, and you can only achieve it if you are Financially free. Stick to your motto, Earn more to Give more."

It was a struggle that night, I was already convinced even before I join the Community but somehow, my "Play-safe" side is not letting me go. While looking at the ceiling, a little voice is telling me, "what will happen to the books you've read about business and finance if you don't start right now." I prayed before I slept that night, then I said, "I'll join, so help me God!"

And now here I am, with cool and supportive coaches and business partners. With this in my circle, I believe I'm on my way to financial freedom. More power to the Group!

There comes a point in every person's life that he feels that he has more to give and yet more to still achieve. I came to that point specifically about 3 years ago.

My first 3 years as a Professional Rat-Racer-Salesman was the most fun and very financially fulfilling time of my very young professional life. I enjoyed all the money that came my way and would spend it all out on personal doodads. My company car was the greatest testimonial of that splurging lifestyle.

I was living the "instant millionaire" lifestyle. But as the years went by everything around me started to change. Then it finally hit me when I read my first book "Who Moved My Cheese".
It made me think that I was living the life that I wanted to live but not preparing myself for what it may bring me in the long run. I was thinking only short term and not long term.

Well as they say that life is like a wheel. My "lifestyles of the rich and famous" has already passed me by so fast that I was left to start my new life from scratch again if not even deeper.

Now when I was already accepting my fate to be the best RAT in my company. I got a very angelic message from my Friendster account. Who could that be? It says, "...I’m forming a group of 15....I’ve already got 10...be a multi-millionaire by 2010...start from zero..." Hmm, looks like a scam to me, but what else can I loose when I have nothing more to loose? right? So one Thursday after my usual routine J.O.B. I got to meet this person. And as they say the rest is history.

Being part of the now CreateAbundance2020 Business School has really been the peak of the story of my financial life. I really thought that I'll just get through living with what I was doing. But right after I joined the group and invested and enrolled my life started to change continuously.

I started to read and buy lots of books that were recommended by my coach and mentor. I see the world in a very different prospective where all possibilities are possible. I am forcing myself to grow as fast as I could cause they say "If you're not growing, you’re Dying".

Meeting my mentors, the two pioneers of this very innovative and visionary type of business school has really been one of the greatest blessings for me. Before, I just envisioned myself living a simple, comfortable and financially stable life. That was my goal. After college, the plan was to find a steady paying job. Then save until I can buy a car, a house probably etc. you know... Live a life. What is your formula for success?
A couple of years ago, I was confronted with this question. Though I’m quite aware that classroom is one way of having formal education, it did not stop me from exploring more the wonders of learning. And so I began looking for more to self educate me in the absence of my professors. My formula for success before was to simply go to school, same as you did, then do well in my academics, top the board, and work for the best auditing firm in the World.

So basically, my success formula was contained merely on my specialization. I was really linking success by getting more formal education. Be A CPA, Get an MBA, CFA, and Law, I was counting the years that it will take then before I could get all of these and become successful--an estimate of 20 years--OMG --quite long right? Spending too much but not getting as much...:Before, Reading was my greatest enemy, I hate reading, I’m always bored with that stuff...Thank God a friend of mine introduce me to something...:Guess what? In the beginning I always thought that having good grades in school will ensure a bright future, but I found out that in the real world another type of education is required, that is being financially literate and even when you excel in school. It doesn't mean that you will be successful in the outside world. Most of the years of my education, I do a lot of things that doesn't help in my improvement like playing DOTA and watching TV all the time thinking that my grades are good and it is enough to guarantee my success. It's as if I know what island I want to go to, but there is no ship headed that way - until I discovered Create Abundance 2020 Business School. Ever since I was a kid, I never really believed in fate. I felt that it would only me a sense of helplessness. And that it would become one of my reasons when I feel like giving up on something. Yes, i liked the power that this belief brought me. I wouldn't say that I'm destined for greatness or that I'm bound to become really wealthy. I just know it. I feel it. And never did I doubt it.

After I graduated from college, i chose to serve my HS Alma mater as a guidance counselor. I liked what I was doing. It was tiring, but it was fun and I was able to help a lot of people as well. I became an employee for less than a year. Why did I resign? I don't know. I just felt like it. I wanted to start building my business empire. But did I? No. I didn't.

After that job, I became a recruiter, another helping profession. I worked with a team. I was learning new things. I got to meet new people. It was really fun and exciting. I was offered a regular position in less than 6 months.

I received an invite in Friendster regarding a course on wealth creation from a person I don't even know. I even asked a friend of mine whether I should go or not. She told me to try it out since it's for free. I filed vacation leaves for 4 Fridays of April, the company granted two. The Person and I were supposed to meet at around 3PM inside Starbucks, Pearl Drive. I didn't know the place, got lost, and was able to find it by 3:10PM. I sent The Person a message, apologizing, but I didn't receive a reply. I waited until 3:45PM, still no reply. So, I decided to go to my girlfriend instead. Thirty to forty minutes later, midway Greenhills, The Person called and told me that he was on his way to Starbucks. He mistakenly sent the new schedule to another Raphael so I was left uninformed. Guess what? I went back. And it was well worth it.

My documents for regularization were being processed the week after that. Two days after I signed my regularization papers, I filed my resignation. Why? I decided to reach for my dreams. And in order to strengthen my desire, i burned my boat. I created my POINT OF NO RETURN.

That is how CreateAbundance2020 affected me. It recreated the dreams that I had lost when I was growing up. It erased the word "impossible" from my dictionary. It made me realize a lot of things about wealth, life, success, desire, and relationships. Create Abundance is not just a business school. It's a school of life.

Fate didn't bring this to me. I brought it upon myself.

I joined Create Abundance because I saw that this is the right vehicle and the right group of people to begin my journey with. I have for many a time became restless for my dreams and I was led to this school -- enriching, supportive, and abundant in the practical lessons of life.

A spiritual mentor once told me my current job can only pay me 5% and less of what I’m capable of doing. I agree. I have a complete able body, an imagination that soars to greater heights, an eternal source of faith, and a complex incredible network of thoughts & emotions inside this brain. I am not perfect... but I am a masterpiece. I cannot settle in the thought that I cannot be great, I am, because my Creator is.

To the word 'impossible', I am making a space to create 2 words that say “I’m possible”. My dreams will no longer be dreams. They are my reality. In fact they are unfolding right before my eyes everywhere I go. Nothing can keep them from happening.
